Owen with Elijah in Kenya in 2017  they met for the first time. We spent a week in Kenya painting with chidlren of all ages.

My name is Owen, I am 11 years old and live in France. For my school project I wanted to help, so I am now painting for an education too.

• 3.2 million children in the world live with HIV.

• 240,000 are born with HIV each year.

• Without medicine 8 out of 10 die by the age of 5.

• Only 1 in 4 have medicine (750,000 on HIV medicine)

• HIV stops children going to school because they are often sick if they don't get good medicine.

• Children with HIV need to go to school, because when they grow up they need to get a  good job so they can look after themselves.
